According to the report released by International Scientific Cooperation Office (ISCO), 840 Iranian researchers are among the most cited researchers, I.e. the top one percent of the world’s distinguished scientists, based on the latest ESL (Essential Science Indicators) ranking results in 2022.
According to the report, the following three scientists of
Yazd University were chosen as the top Iranian researchers with the highest
citations based on the ESL ranking results in 2022:
1. Dr. Saeed Paktinat Mehdiabadi, Department of Physics, Yazd University, Iran, with 50071 citations in the fields of multidisciplinary areas.
2. Dr. Ali
Mostafayipour, Department of Industrial Engineering, Yazd University, Iran,
with 2973 citations in engineering fields.
3. Dr. Bijan Davvaz, the department of Mathematics, Yazd University, Iran, with 2786 citations in multidisciplinary areas.
It is worth mentioning that the list of the top one percent
of the most cited researchers is announced each 10-year in 22 fields of science,
based on the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database, reported by Clarivate
Analytics company (Web of Science).
