According to the latest report of the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), two female researchers from Yazd University were selected as the top two percent of the working period and also the annual period among 557 highly cited female researchers nationwide.
Dr. Shayesteh Dadfarnia and Dr. Bibi Fatemeh Mirjalili, two faculty members of the Chemistry Department at Yazd University, were recognized as the Highly Cited Female Researchers Nationwide for their outstanding research contributions.
Dr. Ali Mirvakili, The Director of ISCO at Yazd University announced this news, stating that, according to the latest report of the ISC, 557 Iranian women are among the highly cited researchers in the country, constituting 12.75% of the highly cited researchers in Iran.
He added that the list of highly cited researchers is announced annually based on the number of citations they have received in reputable citation databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and ISI, as well as some other research indicators.
