Professor Noshahi has devoted more than five decades of his academic career to research, teaching, and the promotion of the Persian language. He has authored and published dozens of scholarly works on Persian language and literature as well as the shared cultural heritage of Iran and the Indian subcontinent, and is widely recognized as a leading figure in Persian studies worldwide.

The news is also of particular significance for the academic community of Yazd University. In 2025, Professor Noshahi visited Yazd University and met with faculty members, researchers, and students. During his visit, he delivered lectures at several academic and cultural sessions focusing on Persian language and literature and the historical and cultural ties between Iran and the Indian subcontinent. His presence at Yazd University provided a valuable opportunity for scholarly exchange and for strengthening cultural and academic cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.

Yazd University congratulated Professor Noshahi on this distinguished achievement, describing his honorary membership in the Academy of Persian Language and Literature as a well‑deserved recognition of his academic and cultural contributions.
