According to the Public Relations Office of Yazd University, and quoting the university’s Physical Education Department, the Region 6 Student Swimming Championships were held on August 6–7, 2026, hosted by the University of Isfahan. Swimmers from universities across the region competed in various events.

At the championships, Aysa Haji Adineh, a Yazd University student, achieved an impressive victory in the 400-metre freestyle, finishing first and claiming the gold medal in the event.

This achievement once again highlights the talent and sporting excellence of Yazd University’s student athletes, particularly its female students, and demonstrates their strong presence and success in university-level competitions.
