Yazd University has achieved an average rank of 18th among 120 universities across Iran in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology’s comprehensive “Farnama” cultural and social activities assessment system.
According to Dr. Davoud Shishehbori, Vice President for Cultural and Social Affairs of Yazd University, the university achieved first place in the number of faculty advisors to student scientific associations and seventh place for the total number of cultural and social programs, with 1,179 programs recorded.
Yazd University also ranked 10th in the percentage of student membership in student groups and 30th in per-student cultural activities.
Dr. Shishehbori attributed these achievements to the active participation of students, faculty members, staff, and university administrators, particularly those involved in scientific associations, cultural and social organizations, and student groups.
The university was also recognized at a ceremony in Ardabil for its effective cooperation in organizing the Ministry of Science’s cultural and social programs, particularly its successful hosting of the “Narrating Ancestry” (Revayat Tabar) camps.
