CanSat are satellites that are made in the size of a soda can, and their difference with the space mission is that a satellite does its job in space; however, a CanSat is lifted by a drone from a height of 300 to 350 meters above the ground surface and then released to accomplish a predetermined mission. The CanSat competition offers the students an opportunity to work on a small-scale space project. According to Aerospace Research Institute in Iran, the aim of such a competition is to spark the students’ scientific enthusiasm so that they could develop novel ideas. Furthermore, it provides the means for training experts and experienced students.
