According to Yazd University Public Relations, Dr. Mohammad Ali Haddad, the Director of International Scientific Cooperation Office of this university, noting that Yazd University is more than 30 years old and has about 14,000 undergraduate, masters and doctoral students, is recognized as a successful university in admitting international students in Iran. This university is ready to admit a number of undergraduate candidates from among the holders of grades 300 to 360 of the entrance exams of the universities of Afghanistan of the year 1400  (1400 entrance exams) based on their academic records.

Dr. Haddad stated that after admission and registration, based on the academic evaluation of the admitted students, the full scholarship will be awarded to a limited number of students. Scholarship recipients are exempt from paying tuition and accommodation in university dormitories.

He added that the applicants can apply for degrees offered by Yazd University via email apply@yazd.ac.ir with the subject of "Application for admission to an undergraduate degree at Yazd University" along with the image of the entrance exam results 2021, the image of the high school diploma and its transcripts or the image of three-year marks of secondary school (10, 11 and 12).

He then introduced 5 Departments and fields of study of Yazd University at the undergraduate level, which include: 

1. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences: Geography, History, Psychology, Educational Sciences, Information Science and Epistemology, Islamic Jurisprudence and Law, Law, Political Sciences, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Social planning and cooperation, sports science, industrial management, business Management, Financial Management, Accounting, Tourism, Economics, Persian Language and Literature, English Language and Literature and Arabic Language and Literature.

2. Faculty of Science: Pure Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Statistics, Mathematics and Applications, and Computer Sciences.

3. Faculty of  Engineering: Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Metallurgy Engineering, Textile Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

4. School of Natural Resources and Desert Studies: Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Soil Sciences and Engineering and Nature Engineering.

5. School of Arts and Architecture: Architectural Engineering, Urban Engineering, Visual Communication and Painting.

According to Dr. Haddad, applicants for the fields of Geography, History, Information Science and Epistemology, Political Science, Anthropology, Social Planning and Cooperation, Industrial Management, Tourism, Economics, Persian Language and Literature, Arabic Language and Literature, Pure Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Statistics, Mathematics and Applications and Computer Science, Mining Engineering, Materials and Metallurgy Engineering, Textile Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Soil Science and Engineering, Urban Engineering and Painting will benefit a 50% and applicants for other fields a 20% tuition discount.
