Dr. Shayeste Dadfarnia, a faculty member of the Department of Chemistry at Yazd University, has been recognized as Iran's top chemist for the year 1403 by the Iranian Chemistry Society.
This prestigious honor was awarded during a ceremony held on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at the Kharazmi Hall of the Iranian Organization for Scientific and Industrial Research. The ceremony coincided with the 21st International Chemistry Congress.
The selection process, overseen by the Iranian Chemistry Society, identified top chemists in four specific branches: organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, mineral chemistry, and physical chemistry. The Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, along with the Research Deputy of the Ministry, were present at the ceremony.
This recognition is a significant achievement for Dr. Dadfarnia and a testament to their remarkable contributions to the field of chemistry in Iran.
