Yazd University Professor Shines Among the World’s Most Cited Female Researchers
The Director of International Scientific Cooperation at Yazd University has announced that Dr. Shayesteh Dadfarnia, a distinguished faculty member from the Department of Chemistry, has been recognized as one of the world’s most highly cited female researchers.

Dr. Ali Mirvakili stated that, according to the latest list of highly cited researchers published by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Dr. Dadfarnia’s name features among the top female researchers globally.

He further highlighted that Iranian female researchers account for over 13% of the country’s highly cited scholars, demonstrating their prominent role in the scientific community.

The recent ISC report includes 665 Iranian female researchers among the nation’s most-cited academics. The ranking of highly cited researchers is based on the number of citations received in renowned citation databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and ISC, as well as other key research metrics. This list is published annually to celebrate outstanding scientific contributions.

This achievement underscores Yazd University’s continued excellence and the significant impact of its faculty on the global academic stage.
