Yazd University Joins COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU)
Yazd, Iran – Yazd University has officially become a member of the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU), a significant step towards strengthening educational and research collaboration within the Islamic world.

Dr. Ali Mirvakili, Director of International Scientific Cooperation at Yazd University, announced the university's membership and acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Majid Pouyan, Head of the Azfa Center (the Center of Teaching Persian to Non-Speakers of Farsi), in realizing this partnership.

CINVU, established in 2011, is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.1 Hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, CINVU aims to create educational equity and expand public education through smart and online technologies.

Dr. Mirvakili highlighted the active involvement of Dr. Vajiheh Farshi and Dr. Mahnaz Jokari, both lecturers at Azfa Center (Teaching Persian to Non-Speakers of Farsi), who are collaborating with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as instructors. He expressed optimism that this collaboration, along with Yazd University's membership in CINVU, will enhance the university's visibility and contribute to the advancement of educational and research opportunities within the Islamic world.

CINVU's mission aligns with the goals of Yazd University, focusing on fostering collaboration, promoting knowledge sharing, and leveraging technology to enhance educational access and quality. Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar serves as the Secretary General of CINVU, leading the organization's efforts in promoting educational equity, facilitating research collaboration, and fostering technological advancement within the Islamic world.
