According to the Times World University Rankings 2025, Yazd University has been ranked sixteenth among Iranian universities for its international outlook, with a score of 36.8.
As reported by Mrs. Engineer Mojgan Sharifian of the Planning and Branding Group of the International Scientific Cooperation Office (ISCO) at Yazd University, this ranking, a globally recognized and prestigious evaluation system, assesses educational institutions based on 18 key indicators. These include teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook.
In the latest rankings, the University of Oxford has retained its leading position for the ninth consecutive year. Notably, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have entered the top 200 universities worldwide for the first time, signaling the growth of emerging markets in higher education.
