Yazd, Iran – A meeting was recently held between the CEOs of technology and knowledge-based companies located in the Yazd University Science and Technology Park and the university's leadership, along with the head of the provincial research and technology fund. The primary focus of the discussion was to identify and address the challenges faced by companies within the park.

    • Dr. Abbas Kalantari, President of Yazd University, announced the creation of an independent structure for the Science and Technology Park.
    • Under the new organizational chart, the technology park will be defined as a center under the university president's office, granting it independent management and a dedicated budget.

    • A significant challenge highlighted was the lack of physical space within the park.
