In a session held on June 25th, 2023, the role of higher education in addressing industrial and social challenges was discussed with Dr. Mohammad Moshtari, an associate professor in Supply Chain Management at Tampere University, Finland. The session, organized by ISCO and the Department of Economics, Management, and Accounting at Yazd University, provided insights into the topic.

Several faculty members of the Persian Language and Literature Department and International Scientific Cooperation Office (ISCO) staff at Yazd University held a session to discuss and exchange ideas with Professor Aref Noshahi, an eminent researcher, Iranologist, and manuscript scholar from Pakistan, regarding the expansion of the Persian language and literature in the Indian subcontinent.

In the Seventh meeting of Yazd University's Executive Board, held on May 24, 2023, various requests for the promotion of several faculty members were discussed, and the promotion of two and four faculty members of Yazd University and Meybod University was approved, respectively.

Briefly speaking of Sandino's role in the victory of the Sandinista revolution, the Ambassador said: “The main goal of this speech is for Iranians to realize the similarities between Nicaragua and Iran in the war against Imperialism”.

The commemoration ceremony of Ferdowsi was held by the Scientific Association of the Persian Language and Literature at Yazd University on May 14, 2023, in the presence of a group of students and faculty members in Shahid Montazerqaem Hall.

A group of international students of Yazd University attended the honoring ceremony of international graduates across the country at Qom University from May 6th to 8th, 2023.

The indicators were based on performance standards over the last year, and they were defined by the 13th government.

For the ongoing academic year, Yazd University intends to admit 50 Afghan female students having inevitably dropped out of higher education, the top ranks of entrance examinations, and distinguished graduates of Afghan universities. They will be awarded the scholarship covering their tuition fee.

Yazd University invites international applicants to register in the academic year 2023-2024 for the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Programs.

The joint article of Dr. Mohammad Ali Iranmanesh, a faculty member of Yazd University was recently published in a reputable journal entitled “Bulletin of Mathematical Sciences”.

The honoring ceremony was held to commemorate the 582nd birth anniversary of Amir al-Kalam Alishir Nawai, a poet, politician, historian, and ruler of Estrabad in the Timurid era, and the 540th birth anniversary of Sultan Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur, a poet, and politician of Afghanistan.

Dr. Mohsen Hakimi, the director of the Research Affairs at Yazd University announced the news and added: “Kardon event is one of Yazd University's practical measures implemented to encourage entrepreneurship”.

Yazd University and the National Textile University of Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 15th 2023.

The 16th National Conference on Astronomy and Astrophysics took place on February 15th in the presence of professors, the ambassadors of Nicaragua and Chile, and a group of students at Yazd University.
