Introduction

The Department of Economics, Management, and Accounting at Yazd University began its academic activities in 1990, initially with the establishment of the Industrial Management program. Over the years, the department has significantly expanded its educational and research capacities and currently includes approximately 41 faculty members across five major academic fields: Industrial Management, Commercial Management, Industrial Economics, Tourism Management, and Accounting.

The department is dedicated to promoting academic excellence and providing a deeper understanding of institutions, businesses, organizational structures, management systems, economics, finance, and accounting practices. Through innovative teaching approaches and cutting-edge research activities, the department prepares students and future managers with the knowledge, analytical abilities, and professional skills required to address real-world organizational and economic challenges.
