The Department of Economics, Management and Accounting of Yazd University has begun its activities since 1990 initially with Industrial Management. Presently it has about 41 faculty members in five fields of study; Industrial Management, Commercial Management, Industrial Economics, Tourism Management, and Accounting. The department aims to provide deeper understanding of the purpose and functioning of institutions, business, organizational structure, management, economics and finance. The cutting-edge research conducted by department of economics, management & accounting lines up to help our students and future managers to obtain the diverse knowledge and skills needed to deal with the problems and challenges present in real-world business situations.
