The Department of Theology of Yazd University began accepting B.A. as well as M.A. students in Jurisprudence and Islamic Laws since 2000 and 2008 respectively. The department accepted M.A. students in 2010 in Nahj al-Balāgha Studies, majoring in Social and Political Sciences and General Law. Moreover, in 2012, the department accepted Ph.D. students in Comparative Exegesis as its first Ph.D. program. At present, the department is continuing its educational and research activities by the cooperation of five associate professors, eleven assistant professors, three instructors and some part-time professors.
