The Department of Architecture equips students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to address complex environmental and social challenges at both national and global scales. Our curriculum offers a comprehensive foundation in traditional and contemporary architectural theories, vernacular architecture, urbanism, sustainability, and historic preservation. Students apply this knowledge to develop design and product expertise.

The department is a leading center for research and training in the history and theory of traditional Iranian architecture. By emphasizing the preservation and revitalization of traditional building techniques and spatial qualities, we cultivate a new generation of specialized professionals.

We offer Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Architecture, as well as Master's degrees in Energy and Architecture and Architectural Conservation and Restoration.
