The Department of Natural Resources and Desert Studies at Yazd University was established in 1988 and has made significant progress in educational and research activities, as well as in the introduction of new academic disciplines and programs. This faculty is considered one of the most experienced and successful natural resources faculties in the country, with a primary focus on dry and semi-dry areas. Currently, the Faculty of Natural Resources and Desert Studies has over 30 full-time and adjunct experienced faculty members engaged in educational and research activities in the fields of natural resources, agriculture, and the environment.
